Four Irish Embassies in Europe are to be picketed tomorrow as part of a day of protest by groups opposed to the Government's immigration policy. The "No Racism - No Deportations" campaign, a coalition of anti-racism and refugee organisations, is also holding a demonstration and march in Dublin tomorrow, starting outside the Department of Justice at 2 p.m.

The organisers say the Government has indicated that 90 per cent of asylum-seekers are likely to be deemed economic migrants rather than "genuine refugees" and will be deported. As well as protests in Dublin, Cork, Limerick and Galway, pickets will be placed on the Embassies in London, Paris, Bonn and Stockholm.
