An Irish priest visiting New York was slashed with a broken bottle on a subway on Saturday. Father Stephen O'Mahony was attacked by four youths aged 14 to 16, believed to be from a group home in Rockaway, Queens. They stole $15, his wallet and a credit card but were arrested shortly after the attack. Father O'Mahony was taken to Peninsula General Hospital where he needed 45 stitches to face wounds.
