OXFORD - An Oxford student has been suspended from the Oxford Union for a term and fined £50 for selling a transcript of O J Simpson's address to the union.

Mr Chris Philp, a second year student at University College, also helped sell a recording of the debate earlier this month.

The union's standing committee accused him of making a written transcript of the O J Simpson debate which took place two weeks ago and selling it to national newspapers.

Mr Philp admitted both offences.
