Pretoria - The US Secretary of State, Mr Colin Powell, arrived in South Africa yesterday, where he was due to discuss regional conflict and the HIV/AIDS epidemic.
Mr Powell is on a four-nation tour of Africa which began in Mali on Wednesday and will take him next to Kenya and Uganda.
He immediately went into a meeting with President Thabo Mbeki in the capital, Pretoria.
