A pipe bomb has been found in a field near a bar in Crumlin, Co Antrim

A pipe bomb has been found in a field near a bar in Crumlin, Co Antrim. It is understood the device was left outside the White Horse Inn on the Dungonnell Road on Monday night and was picked up by a customer, who thought it was a spent firework and threw it over a hedge.

It is understood the Orange Volunteers was responsible. The attempted bombing was condemned by the Ulster Unionists and the SDLP.
