London - A backlog of cases before Britain's highest court has delayed their ruling on the fate of the former Chilean dictator, Gen Augusto Pinochet, and other key decisions, a newspaper reported yesterday.

The Times said it would be at least another three weeks before the law lords, a panel of judges from the House of Lords, issue their judgment on Gen Pinochet.
