A petition signed by 20,000 people urging the Minister for Arts, Heritage, Gaeltacht and the Gaeltacht, Ms de Valera, to introduce a ban on hunting with hounds has been handed in to the Minister's Department. The document was compiled by the Irish Anti-Hunt Campaign - Save Our Stags, which mounted a protest outside the Department yesterday.
