Gardaí are at the scene of an incident in O'Connell Street in Dublin city centre in which a pedestrian has been knocked down.
A witness at the scene told ireland.comit appeared a pedestrian had been hit by a vehicle near the GPO.
A large crowd has gathered and gardaí and ambulance are attending the scene. Traffic on the street has been disrupted.
Gardaí could not confirm details of the incident.
