Parthus announces management reshuffle

Irish mobile computer chip designer Parthus Technologies today named a new president and chief financial officer.

Irish mobile computer chip designer Parthus Technologies today named a new president and chief financial officer.

Mr Kevin Fielding, formerly chief operating officer, was named president of the company, responsible for the financial and operating objectives for the company, Parthus said.

Ms Elaine Coughlan, formerly vice-president of finance, was named chief financial officer. Mr Peter McManamon, formerly chief financial officer, was appointed executive vice-president for corporate development, the firm said.

Parthus said the appointments were aimed at strengthening management and increasing Parthus's focus on mergers and acquisitions.

Parthus shares finished closed at $17 on the Nasdaq yesterday - well off its 52-week high of $55.
