Islamabad - A visiting Commonwealth mission yesterday pressed the military government to set a timeframe for a return to democratic rule or risk Pakistan's expulsion from the forum.

The four-member Commonwealth fact-finding team, led by the Canadian Foreign Minister, Mr Lloyd Axworthy, met President Muhammad Rafiq Tarar, Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, Justice Saeeduzzaman Siddiqui and held talks with new Pakistani Foreign Minister Mr Abdus Sattar.
