BEIJING - An explosion rocked a park just a few hundred metres from the heart of government in China's capital, Beijing, yesterday, killing one person. Police officials declined to say whether the blast was caused by a bomb.
Chinese sources said at least one person was killed in the explosion, the third reported in the Chinese capital in just two months. They said the blast was apparently caused by a home-made bomb.
