The Cranberries are to release a new album in April following a lengthy absence from the music scene. The album, entitled Bury The Hatchet, is the Irish band's first since To The Faithful Departed in 1996. The Limerick band has sold more than 28 million records worldwide.
It was recorded in Miraval, France, last spring, with further recording completed in London last summer. A new single, Promises, precedes the album on February 22nd.
