IRELAND is pressing the EU to agree to "stringent requirements for the labelling of alcoholic fruit juices", the House was told in a written reply.

The Minister for Enterprise and Employment, Mr Bruton told Mr Ivor Callely (FE, Dublin North Central) that the Director of Consumer Affairs had found the labelling of alcoholic lemonades on sale to comply with existing food labelling regulations.
