Nationwide Building Society is preparing to open its doors in the State, announcing today that it was putting plans in place for the move.
If it gets approval from the Financial Services Authority and the Irish Financial Services Regulatory Authority, Nationwide will offer savings products by post, phone and online.
Nationwide is the second largest savings provider in the UK.
