Washington - Two Muslims were shot dead in the US on Saturday - a Sikh gas station owner in Mesa, Arizona, and a Pakistani Muslim store owner in Dallas, Texas.

The Council on American-Islamic Relations has recorded more than 300 incidents of anti-Muslim harassment, threats, discrimination and violence since last Tuesday. It had also received reports of vehicles being rammed into Islamic centers in Ohio and Indiana and a centre bombed in San Diego.
