Motorcyclist named after Louth accident

A 22-year-old man was killed in a motorcycle accident at Togher, Co Louth this morning.

A 22-year-old man was killed in a motorcycle accident at Togher, Co Louth this morning.

Gardaí have named the man as Pascal Connolly from Parsonstown in Togher.

The man struck an ESB pole at Togher at 2 a.m. He wasdeclared dead on arrival at Our Lady's Hospital in Drogheda.

Another man has died near Tandragee in Co Armagh this morning when his car left the road at a sharp bend on the Mullahead Road at 1 a.m. He has not as yet been named.
