LONDON - The mother of the boy who is challenging his parents' right to smack him at the European Court tomorrow spoke for the first time about the case.

The woman, who cannot be named, said she was "astounded" at what was going on and claimed her son was "totally out of control". The boy, who is being backed by his natural father, will claim his human rights were violated when his stepfather heat him with a cane.
