CORBY - A 27 year old mother of three was hacked to death while her three young sons listened in the next bedroom, detectives believe.
Police suspect that the attacker then set fire to the family's house in Northamptonshire, in an attempt to cover the traces of his crime. One of the boys - aged three - was seriously injured in the fire and was yesterday on a life support machine. The others suffered smoke inhalation.
