Despite the toddler initially improving, his condition worsened unexpectedly last Wednesday.

Ms Moran's seven-year-old daughter, Tamika, was staying with her grandparents on the night of the fire.

Gardaí believe that a chip pan may have been the source of the fire.

An inquest into their deaths will take place later.
