Dublin senior hurling manager Marty Morris has resigned after only ten months in the job, it has been confirmed.

Dublin senior hurling manager Marty Morris has resigned after only ten months in the job, it has been confirmed.

Morris resigned his postion because he felt that 'he didn't have the required support of the Dublin County Board.'

The county board has since released a statement thanking Morris for "his outstanding commitment" to the senior hurling squad, and indicated that a new management team would be appointed "in due course".
