Harare - Opposition officials yesterday reported more political violence in Zimbabwe, where a land grab campaign aimed at white farmers has hamstrung the already weak economy and threatens growing international isolation.

Dr Chenjerai Hunzvi, leader of liberation war veterans who have occupied hundreds of white-owned farms, was flown in a military helicopter to two areas where new violence had been reported. Representatives of the Commercial Farmers' Union were unable immediately to give any details about the violence in the Arcturus and Chiredzi districts.
