More snow possible on high ground

More snow is possible on high ground today, after a night in which flakes fell throughout the country. The heaviest falls were in the Dublin area, where snow began falling around 11 p.m. Light snow showers were reported in Sligo, Galway, Mullingar, Dundalk and Wicklow, as winds eased and temperatures around the country reached an unseasonably low minus 2 Celsius.
