More power to `Mir'

Moscow - The Mir space station got power yesterday from three solar panels on Spektr for the first time since the research module was damaged two months ago. A fourth solar panel was damaged in the June 25th collision with an incoming cargo craft. Meanwhile NASA is having difficulty in finding a replacement for astronaut Michael Foale, whose four-month stint on Mir is about to end.
