Monk injured by bomb

Istanbul - A Greek monk was injured in a bomb attack on the Greek Orthodox Patriarchate at the Phanar in Istanbul, church officials said yesterday. The home-made bomb or grenade was thrown over a wall of the Patriarchate. "It did not go off immediately . . . Then it was like a sonic boom," a church official said.
