Dublin-based mining company Minmet has said that it is in discussions that could result in a takeover offer for the company.
In a statement today, the company said it "notes the recent rise in the company's share price and confirms that it is in talks".
However, the identity of the potential bidders remains a mystery, with no indication given as to who might be in the running to buy up the mining company.
