Minister for Health Mr Mícheal Martin today announced a massive £268 million extension for the Mater Hospital in Dublin.
The capital programme is part of the National Development and will provide a new children’s hospital to replace Temple Street Hospital.
Operating theatres and an accident and emergency department will also be built. Existing Mater Hospital units will also be refurbished.
