President Mary McAleese was today presented with a copy of her official biography, The Road from Ardoyne: the making of a President at Áras an Uachtaráin today.
The author, Mr Ray Mac Manáis, has been Mrs McAleese's Irish teacher since she became President in 1997. He published an Irish version of the biography in 2002.
The book covers the period of the President's life from her childhood to her inauguration as President.
