Police in Co Antrim are investigating an assault on an man (18) by a masked gang last night.
A Police Service of Northern Ireland spokeswoman said the gang of at least five men forced their way into a house at Longfield Gardens in Greenisland and beat the man with baseball bats.
The victim suffered severe bruising to his body, legs and arms.
There were no arrests.
