London - The Marquess of Bristol, who has died at the age of 44, was jailed twice for possession of drugs. Lord Bristol died in his sleep and was found yesterday morning at his home, Little Horringer Hall on the Ickworth estate in Suffolk.

Descended from the 18th century Bishop of Derry and Volunteer leader, Fredrick Augustus Hervey, the marquess was once reported to have blown off the door of a fridge with a shotgun to get at a bottle of champagne.
