One man was still in custody last night in Terenure Garda Station in connection with the murder of Mr Martin Comer ford on April 26th last. Mr Comerford was due to appear in court that day charged with the murder of Mr Anthony Beatty, killed in a pub in Mary Street in 1997.

The man being held yesterday was arrested, along with two others, early last Tuesday morning, and his period of detention was extended for a further 24 hours yesterday. The other two men were released.
