A 20-year-old Irish man arrested after cocaine worth €300,000 was seized by customs officers at Dublin airport yesterday is still being questioned by gardai.

The man was arrested under Section 2 of the Drug Trafficking Act and is being held at Santry Garda Station

He can be held for up to seven days before being charged or released.

The drugs were found concealed in a false compartment of a suitcase.

The Office of the Revenue said the detection was made as a result of risk profiling by Customs.
