A 34-year-old man is in hospital in Belfast today with broken legs and arms

A 34-year-old man is in hospital in Belfast today with broken legs and arms. He is believed to be a victim of a so-called punishment beating.

The man was attacked in Monkstown at around 8.30 p.m. last night.

Two 18-year-olds are also in hospital after being attacked in the Greenmount Place area of Belfast last night. The two were each shot in the right leg. Their injuries are not life-threatening.
