Man questioned over drugs find

Some €500,000 worth of BZP tablets were recovered by gardaí during a search in Dublin yesterday.

A man in his 50s was arrested during the raid in which gardaí also seized some €70,000 worth of cocaine.

Gardaí searched a house in the Bridewell area of north Dublin city at about 3pm.

The man arrested at the scene last night is being held at Store Street Garda station.

The search was part of an ongoing Garda operation into the sale and supply of controlled drugs.

BZP, or benzylpiperazine, is a synthetic mood-altering drug.
