A man(41) has been killed in a single-vehicle crash in Co Laois.
The man died after the car he was a passenger in left the road and hit a wall on the N80 Carlow to Portlaoise Road, about 3km from Carlow, at 10.30pm last night.
The driver and only other occupant were injured in the crash and taken to St Lukes Hospital, Kilkenny.
The road is currently closed and Garda Forensic Collision Investigators will examine the scene this morning.
