A man (54) was killed in a car crash in Galway today.
The man died after his car hit a ditch in Ballydoolough, Cornamona, shortly after midnight. No other car was involved.
Gardaí from Clifden station are investigating.
A total of 160 people have died on the State's roads so far this year.
