A Co Derry man who shouted abuse at loyalist bandsmen has been jailed for six months.

A Co Derry man who shouted abuse at loyalist bandsmen has been jailed for six months.

Cookstown Magistrates' Court was told yesterday that Colm McGuckin (22), of Gracefield Road, Castledawson, shouted at the bandsmen during an Orange church parade in Moneymore on July 11th. McGuckin received concurrent jail sentences on charges of disorderly behaviour and assault on the police.
