Man jailed for 6-1/2 years for drug delivery

A man who delivered £200,000 worth of cannabis resin has been jailed for 6-1/2 years at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court.

A man who delivered £200,000 worth of cannabis resin has been jailed for 6-1/2 years at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court.

David Hogarty (34), from Dublin, was found to have delivered 10 kg of the drug to an address in Ringsend on November 13th, 1999.

Garda Michael Phelan said that after the premises were searched, Hogarty was followed and stopped at Pearse Street, where he was found to have another 10 kg of cannabis resin. Garda Phelan said Hogarty was paid £150 to make the delivery.
