A man was charged last night with the assault of an Italian student in Fairview Park, Dublin, on Thursday, July 29th.
The man (29) will appear in the Dublin District Court this morning. Another man who was questioned by gardai in connection with the incident was released without charge yesterday evening. Mr Guido Nasi (17), a student at Gioberta High School, Turin, remains in a critical condition in Beaumont Hospital.
In a separate case, three men are due to appear before the Dublin District Court on Tuesday to face charges in connection with the robbery of two young Italian men in Blessington Street, Dublin, at 12.15 a.m. yesterday.
