A 24-year-old man was admitted to hospital in Limerick early this morning after being stabbed in the garden of a house in Ennis.
The incident happened at about 12.30 am in the Waterpark Heights area.
The man was taken by ambulance to the Mid Western Regional Hospital in Limerick, where his condition is described as stable.
The scene has been preserved for technical examination and gardaí are appealing for witnesses to contact them on 065 6848100.
