A 19-year-old man is receiving hospital treatment following an assault in Newtownabbey, Co Antrim last night.
Shortly before 8pm, three masked men armed with iron bars attacked the victim in the Greyabbey Gardens area of Monkstown.
The man was taken to hospital with suspected fractures to both hands.
A motive for the assault has yet to be established.
