A man has is being held in connection with a shooting incident in Limerick city yesterday evening.
Shots were fired at a house in Sean Heuston Place at about 5pm.
The 23-year-old was arrested this morning and is being held under section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act in henry Street Garda station.
Two people detained last night in connection with the incident have been released.
