A man has been arrested in Dublin Airport after Customs officers x-rayed him and found he had swallowed 95 pellets containing cocaine with an estimated value of €70,000.

The man (30), a Polish national, had arrived on a flight from Brussels.

In total, one kilo of cocaine was discovered, Customs said.

The man was taken to Santry Garda station for questioning.
