A man has been arrested in connection with the attempted murder of two police officers in Co Fermanagh, the PSNI said today.

The man is being questioned about a landmine attack that injured the officers in the village of Rosslea early on Saturday morning. The Continuity IRA has claimed it was responsible.

The officers were in a car crossing a bridge near the village when part of the device exploded.

They sustained minor injuries but the police are adamant the attack was a deliberate attempt to kill.

The man was arrested in the town of Lisnaskea yesterday.
