A 50-Year-Old man was fatally stabbed at his home in Eyre Street, Newbridge, Co Kildare, last night.
A 38-year-old woman has been arrested in connection with the incident and is being held at Newbridge Garda station.
The incident occurred at around 10.45 p.m. The man died at the scene, which has been preserved for forensic examination. The State Pathologist will carry out a post-mortem today.
