A man died on St Patrick's Day after falling from a third-floor bedroom of a Donegal hotel. The 35-year old father-of-two from Carrickfergus, Co Antrim, died instantly from head injuries after falling from the third storey of the Villa Rose Hotel, Main Street, Ballybofey.
It is understood he was among a group of eight workers who were doing electrical work at the nearby Mulrines bottling plant and were staying at the hotel.
