A man has died after being hit by a lorry in Co Kerry yesterday afternoon.
Gardaí in Tralee are investigating the fatal traffic collision, which took place in Ardfert, Co Kerry at about 3.40pm yesterday afternoon.
The male pedestrian was struck by a lorry in Ardfert village and pronounced dead at the scene.
His body was removed to Tralee General Hospital for a postmortem, and the road was closed off for a forensic examination.
