A man died this morning after a car crash in Co Waterford.
The single-car crash happened at 12.20 a.m. in Mountcongreve, Kilmeaden. The 21-year-old driver died when his car went out of control and hit a wall. The dead man has not been named.
In Tallaght last night, a woman died after the car in which she was a passenger crashed on Blessington Road.
Niamh Anderson of Heatherview Avenue, Aylesbury (23) was taken to Tallaght hospital where she later died. There was no other vehicle involved n the crash.
Gardaí at Tallaght are appealing for witnesses; they are particularly interested in talking to a woman driving a people carrier who may have stopped at the scene.
