A MAN appeared before the Dublin District Court yesterday charged in connection with the robbery of three German nurses as they walked in the Phoenix Park. Mr Keith McLaughlin (22), of Garryowen Road, Ballyfermot, is charged with robbing the three tourists of £160 at Kyber Road on August 14th.
Det Garda Oisin McKeown told the court it was alleged the friends were walking in the park together when the accused man approached them and produced a syringe and threatened them.
Judge William Hamill refused jurisdiction on the case being dealt with at district court level and remanded Mr McLaughlin on bail to next January 7th for a book of evidence.
