A 31-year-old man from the Waterside area of Derry, who is charged with murdering his 56-year-old uncle last Sunday, wept when he appeared before the city’s Magistrate’s Court yesterday.

James Anthony Healy from Hollymount Park is charged with murdering father-of-two Christopher James McGaughy, who died after he was stabbed in Hollymount Park. The defendant is also charged with possessing two knives with intent to commit murder. He was remanded in custody until he appears in court for a video link hearing on November 24th.
