A man arrested by detectives from the Garda Bureau of Fraud Investigation appeared before the Dublin District Court yesterday charged with obtaining money under false pretences.
Mr Blessing Ogbishe Erejuwa (27), of no known address, was charged under the Larceny Act with obtaining £200 and $200 at Sussex Road, Dublin, on Wednesday.
Judge Miriam Malone remanded the accused, who did not seek bail, in custody for a week. She deferred a decision on legal aid until then.
